Great Resources For Organizing Your Home |
|
|
We all know that organizing you home can be an overwhelming job. But, did you know that there are several online resources that are devoted to making that job a little easier. Organizing Tips For You (http://www.organize-tips-4u.com/) has a wealth of information for organizing the different areas of your home. There are articles about clutter control, home organizing, and organizing for parents.
Your Weekly Organizing Assignment (http://www.organize-tips-4u.com/Your-Weekly-Organizing-Assignment.html) is quickly becoming a popular resource for organizing your home and eliminating clutter. Each week you get a new organizing assignment and several tips. Each assignment and the corresponding tips focus on a small area of the home rather than complete rooms so you don't get overwhelmed.
Another popular email list is Flylady (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FlyLadyMentors/). When you sign up at flylady.net, several times a day you will receive email reminders that will help you set up routines for keeping your house in order. If you find a lot of emails a little overwhelming, there is a digest version available.
Get Organized Now (http://www.getorganizednow.com/) is a site created by Maria Gracia – author of “Finally Organized, Finally Free for the Home” and “Finally Organized, Finally Free for the Home”. There is a free idea pack and newsletter as well as lots of organizing articles.
Christmas Organizing (http://www.christmasorganizing.com/) is a site that is devoted to organizing for Christmas. There is a lot of great information that will help you keep the holiday season organized. Resources include a blog and forum.
Last, but certainly not least, is Organized-Living.com (http://www.organized-living.com/). This site contains information about the top organizing products as well as resources for professional and non-professional organizers.
This is just a list of some of my favorite home organizing web sites. A quick note of caution though… there is so much information available between these sites that you may find yourself doing more organizing research than home organizing!
